![]() ![]() PlayStation version follows the control layout from the SNES predecessors so you'll feel right at home as you start the game (and to me, that a fundamental element to nail down for any MM game. Saving does not require a memory card unlike PS1 (you can save on internal battery or use the RAM Backup cartridge for options). Saturn version likely uses Cinepak codec for quality/compression and many games did for the time, but these are old game consoles anyhow). ![]() FMVs look blocky and over all not too pleasing on the eyes (the PS1 version looks slightly better because the console typically uses M-JPEG for video. Controls (at least for me) are awkward because of the button layout on Saturn's controller, and remapping don't help either (again, just me). Saturn version features special effects (lava rippling, etc.) for certain levels not seen in the PlayStation version.
